Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide (large sugar molecule) that occurs in various tissues (skin, synovial fluids of joints, connective tissues). Responsible for tissue hydration, lubrication, & tissue stability, holds 500 times its own weight of water. Raw Material Source: Glucose, soy peptone and Streptococcus zooepidemicus
Advanced Vitamin C THD
A highly stable, oil-soluble vitamin C ester. Has excellent skin penetration and as a result offers increased cell protection against UV-B. The skin cell viability is increased up to 30% when compared with l-ascorbic acid. It can improve appearance of aged and fragile skin and reduce pigmentation and age-spots.
Orchid Stem Cells
Plant stem cells obtained from a Japanese orchid flower (Calanthe Discolor). In vitro studies with tissue cells have been found that orchid stem cells extracts are able to induce several growth factors and stimulate the production of tissue proteins (collagen, elastin). Benefits: Provides a broad rejuvenating effect such as restoring firmness and elasticity of the skin and redefining the contouring of the jawline and eye area.
Silk Protein
A natural protein obtained from natural silk noils (fibers, fibroin) from the cocoon of the silk worm (bombyx mori). It has excellent moisture binding properties & silky smooth feel. The exceptional purity of silk is shown by the clarity of its film and low ash content. Protein content is about 10%. Benefits: It is known for its high moisture binding capacities providing a protective barrier
Tocopherols
Vitamin E, also known as tocopherols, is a well known antioxidant with potent anti-inflammatory benefits. It can strengthen the skin barrier against sun damage, and is also effective in minimising scarring.
BOTANICAL ACTIVES & EXTRACTS
BAKUCHIOL
Extracted from the edible seeds of the Psoralea Corylifolia plant. Despite having no structural resemblance to retinol, Bakuchiol was found to have retinol functionality through retinol-like regulation of gene expression. Effective active agent against blemished and impure skin. Balances natural regulation of sebum production. Bakuchiol has anti-aging and anti-wrinkle properties by having retinol-like activities. Has been clinically demonstrated to reduce hyperpigmentation and wrinkles as efficiently as retinol. Has been found to stimulate collagen production and maintain the high level of elastin.
TERMINALIA ARJUNA
Ajurana extract combines different mechanisms of actions thanks to key natural molecules extracted from the Terminalia Arjuna tree: •Terpenoids with cardiotonic properties, and flavonoids (quercetin, rutin) and phenolic acids (gallic acid, ellagic acid) with strong anti-free radical capacity. •Visibly reduces eye puffiness and attenuates wrinkles and fine lines under eyes. •Reduces blue pigmentation of dark circles and skin pigmentation of eye area becomes more homogeneous, less colored.Stimulates microcirculation around the eye area.
FRANKINCENSE RESINOID
A complete resinoid extract of Boswellia sacra frankincense resin. Unlike its distilled essential oil counterpart, this extract preserves the full spectrum of healing properties from the frankincense, including the potent boswellic acid known for its potential cancer-fighting effects. Frankincense contains terpenes, which detoxify the skin and controls sebum levels. As such, it can benefit people with oily and acne-prone skin. Frankincense increases skin elasticity, improves signs of photoaging, and promotes skin firmness.
ROSELLE FLOWER
Roselle is incredibly high in antioxidants, particularly vitamin C. It contains naturally occurring Alpha Hydroxy Acids that promote smooth, refined skin. It also inhibits elastin degradation, resulting in maintaining the skin's elasticity and consequent anti-aging effects.
BLUE TANSY
Blue tansy oil contains very high levels of the compound chamazulene, a type of antioxidant that is known to have calming effects on the skin, as well as the ability to fight free radical damage that contributes to signs of aging. Other anti-inflammatory compounds include Sabinene Camphor Myrcene and Pinene. These compounds can help prevent damage, swelling, and redness. Blue Tansy addresses the first signs of UV damage and ageing, such as wrinkles and fine lines. It’s antimicrobial properties make it a hero ingredient for anti-acne products.
ROSE HYDROSOL
Rose hydrosol helps maintain the skin's pH balance and also controls excess oil. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis, and eczema. Our Rose Hydrosol is distilled in NZ from fresh, spray-free Rosa damascena petals.
CARRIERS
OLIVE SQUALANE
Squalane occurs naturally in the lipidic layers of the skin and prevents moisture loss while restoring the skin's suppleness and flexibility. Squalane is highly resistant to oxidation and has a high affinity to skin cells due to its skin-identical structure.
CAPRIC/CAPRYLLIC TRIGLYCERIDES
This emollient oil contains a host of excellent fatty acids, including capric acid and caprylic acid. It is a light-weight, gentle ingredients which is non-irritating and safe for all skin types, and can help to balance the skin microbiome by inhibiting the growth of some forms of pathogenic bacteria.
PRICKLY PEAR SEED OIL
Prickly pear seed oil contains high levels of linoleic acid, Omega 6 and 9, amino acids, zinc, polyphenols, betalains, and vitamin K. Plus, it has one of the highest amounts of Vitamin E found in any plant source. It is full of flavonoids and zinc which helps ease inflammation and calm irritation, reducing redness. The high levels of fatty acids (up to 70% linoleic acid) in prickly pear seed oil help protect the skin barrier and work to reduce water loss, which ultimately improves hydration.
AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil contains a particularly high content of vitamins A, B, D and E and essential fatty acids.The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and also increase collagen metabolism.

BLUE LOTUS FLOWER
Blue lotus is commonly used in dried form, in tea or tincture. The absolute oil of blue lotus is among the world's very rarest and most costly, usually reserved for fine perfumery. Not only are blue lotus flowers very uncommon, it takes an extremely skilled artisan producer to delicately and painstakingly extract the oil into an absolute so all of its complex aromatics stay intact. Blue Lotus Absolute contains sedative properties which makes it useful as a sleep aid, natural anti-anxiety aid, stress reliever, aphrodisiac, and to calm muscle spasms. In skincare, blue lotus has offered pronounced relief to dry, flaky, and inflamed skin—providing intense moisture while balancing sebum.
CALENDULA OFFICINALIS
Our calendula extract is made in-house, ensuring the freshness and potency. It is made using the whole flower head, not just the petals. As such it is high in the oil-soluble compounds found in calendula. Calendula contains high levels of calendic acid in the seeds while the petals and pollen contain triterpenoid esters and the carotenoids flavoxanthin and auroxanthin. It has effective soothing and moisturizing properties and is especially suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.
